Illustrated with woodcuts throughout; of hounds, dog hunting scenes and falcons. 18th century full calf, slightly gilt, partly rubbed, minor damages and restaurations to spine. Strong and tight binding. Title in old ink written on fore edge. Title and second page of "The Noble Art" with paperlosses on title, 1 leaf of music with repaired tear. Text with minor dampstains, some contemporary scribble and ink stains.Second edition. First edition was published 1575.
